Lynette
::Walking in the door after Lohan, she sighed.::
"I want your stuff put into the closet below the stairs. You're sleeping in my room, I'll set you up a bed on the floor."
::She took off her coat, and hung it on the rack.::
"Shane? Are you home?" she yelled into the house.

Shane
She came out in a pair of incredibly low riding jeans, and a spaghetti strap shirt. Her cell phone was clipped on to the side of her jeans, her hair down around her long as ever.
"Hey Aunt Lyn. What's up?"
Shane was licking a popscicle in her hand.

Lynette
"Oh, nothing." she said, smiling to her other niece. "I took Lohan and Andrew for a nice trip to the mall. We enjoyed it."
Lohan
::She eyed her aunt, and shook her head.::
"No, you enjoyed it."
Lynette
"Oh, honey. Please. We all had fun. I'll help you take off your jacket."
::She took off Lohan's jacket, revealing her crudely designed shirt.::
Lohan
"Don't. Say. A. Word." she warned, looking to her cousin. "It's stupid and Aunt Lynette and Miss Bree over-reacted."
::She took her jacket back, and covered her shirt that had read "My aunt caught me in bed with my neighbor." in red sharpie, and stalked up the stairs.::
Lynette
"Aren't you glad you don't have that problem?" she asked Shane. "She told me I've been spending too much time with Bree."

Shane
She was laughing inside, hysterically, though she would never let her aunt see that. The truth was, between the two girls, Lohan was probably the better one. That made everything even more hillarious to her.
"Uh huh." She replied, "No problems like that here."

Lynette
::She didn't know exactly what was going through Shane's head, but she did know that she had a pretty good idea.::
"Good." she smiled again. "Where are the boys and the baby?"

Shane
"The, uh, boys are out back playing football. And Penny is upstairs napping."
She smiled her sweetest smile at her aunt as she tilted her head to the side a little.
"Aunt Lyn, when are you going to realize I am the perfect babysitter for my little cousins?"

Lynette
"Well, obviously when you get all distressed about something the boys break or jam or tp..." she smiled, hearing the phone ring. "Just a sec."
::She answered it.::
"Hello?...Well you called me, so I'll ask the questions here. Who is this?.....Oh okay. Well here she is."
::She took the phone away from her ear, handing it to Shane.::
"For you honey."

Shane
Looking a little perplexed she took the phone, "Hello?" When the person seemed to answer, Shane smiled a little girlishly and turned her back to her aunt.
"Uh huh. I know. I'll meet you guys there. Uh huh. Sure. Team bonding...right. Allrighty hun, I'll see you there. Bye."
Shane hung up the phone, turned back to her aunt and handed it to her.

Lynette
"Uh-huh." she took the phone. "Okay, not that I'm not interested in what 'team bonding' is, but I'm not gonna make you tell me. I do want to know where you're going and what time you're gonna be back, though."

Shane
She knew this was the hard part. Getting permission to actually go somewhere and negotiating a curfew. Plus she knew the legendary 'team bonding' of the girls soccer team was known by many and the news must have reached her Aunt by now.
"Um, we're just going to this hang out at somebody's house and I'll be home around 2?"

Lynette
"Seeing as it is a Friday night, and I know you love to make Lohan jealous, 2 is fine. But--" she dropped the smile, and looked at Shane seriously. "You're older than her, and I do know some of the stuff you do because I talk to the girls' moms, if you're gonna drink have someone else that's sober drive you home or call. And for god's sake, use a rubber."
The last thing we need in this house is another baby.
Yes, Lynette knew that Lohan was wreckless, Shane could be manipulative when she wants something but careful about it, and Dylan usually didn't care about anything but her sister. And she knew all three girls needed different forms of discipline. For this she was prepared, but what was to come, she had no idea what she had gotten herself into when she took custody of her youngest niece.

Shane
She once again cocked her head to the side. Looking at her Aunt with a perplexity that hadn't been seen on Shane's face since she was four and began soccer.
"I must say, Aunt Lynette, you are taking this extremely well. I'm almost afraid to ask why."

Lynette
"You're older, in the middle but older, and I know you're going to experiment a bit. And I know you're careful. I'm not quite ready to let go of Lohan yet, though."
::She smiled a soft smile to Shane.::
"Well, are you gonna go meet your friends, or what?" she laughed.

Dylan
There was a knock at the door. Lynette answered it. There stood a drunk Dylan in the hands of an officer.
"Excuse me ma'ma, are you Lynette Scavo?"
She looked at Dylan who could only smile at her and wave drunkenly at her sister and cousin.
"Try to keep her from knocking over a mailbox and three garbage cans...ok?"
He handed Dylan over to Lynette.
"I don't want to see you in my district again, Dylan."
Turning around, Dylan then flipped him the bird and snatched away from Lynette.
"Let me go! I ain't even drunk..."
Snapping her fingers she stopped smelling like booze and looked completely sober.
"So what I miss?"
She tked a apple from the counter and took a big bite.

Shane
She shrugged. It was a good enough answer for her. That just meant she didn't have to hide the bulk of it anymore. She pulled her jeans down a bit more, grabbed her purse and headed for the door Lynette and Lohan had just entered from.
"Oh, since you're ready to let go, I'll be back by three! See ya!"
Shane darted out the door before anybody had time to say anything else.
